Forklift
A counterbalance forklift (about 3.4 m long with forks) driving toward +Z, forks first. Wheels spin with distance driven; the fork carriage (forks) and the inner mast (mast_inner) are slide rigs on y, so the forks climb the two-stage mast. Optional pallet of boxes on the forks. Headlights and an amber roof beacon glow at night.

Use it
Code for the specimen as it is set up above; it follows your knobs.
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/forklift.mjs';
const forklift = createAsset();
scene.add(forklift); // rests on y = 0, front faces +Z
let dist = 0;
renderer.setAnimationLoop(() => {
dist += speed * clock.getDelta();
forklift.position.z = dist;
forklift.userData.tick(dist); // wheels roll exactly with the distance
renderer.render(scene, camera);
});import { useMemo, useRef } from 'react';
import { useFrame } from '@react-three/fiber';
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/forklift.mjs';
export function Forklift({ speed = 1 }) {
const model = useMemo(() => createAsset(), []);
const dist = useRef(0);
useFrame((_, dt) => {
dist.current += speed * dt;
model.position.z = dist.current;
model.userData.tick(dist.current); // wheels roll exactly with the distance
});
return <primitive object={model} />;
}# Import forklift.glb (download below). It carries an in-place "Loop" animation.
@onready var anim: AnimationPlayer = $Forklift/AnimationPlayer
func _physics_process(delta):

move_and_slide()
anim.play("Loop")
anim.speed_scale = speed / 4.147 # one Loop = 4.147 m of travel// Import forklift.glb with glTFast (com.unity.cloud.gltfast).
animator.Play("Loop");
animator.speed = speed / 4.147 // one Loop = 4.147 m of travelUse the gaitkit MCP server: get_variant({ "id": "forklift", "want": "default look" })
then place the result and drive it with userData.tick(distance).

| Knob | Type | Values | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
paint | choice | yellow red orange blue green | yellow | Body colour: yellow (classic), red, orange, blue or green. Mast, guard and counterweight stay charcoal. |
load | toggle | on / off | true | A wooden pallet stacked with cardboard boxes on the forks. |
mastHeight | range | 2.2 to 4.2, step 0.1 | 2.6 | Height of the lowered mast in metres. A two-stage mast lifts the forks to almost twice this. |
lift | range | 0 to 1, step 0.05 | 0.12 | How far the forks are raised: 0 on the ground, 1 at the top of the extended mast. Above about 40 percent the inner mast extends too. |
Presets: warehouse {"paint":"yellow","load":true} · high stacker {"paint":"blue","mastHeight":3.6,"lift":0.7} · yard truck {"paint":"red","load":false,"lift":0}
