Wind Turbine
A modern three-blade wind turbine at real scale (60 to 120 m hub height): tapered steel tower, nacelle and a rotor named rotor that spins about z (userData.tick turns it, one revolution per loop). The rotor faces +Z; a red aviation beacon on the nacelle glows at night.

Use it
Code for the specimen as it is set up above; it follows your knobs.
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/wind-turbine.mjs';
const windTurbine = createAsset();
scene.add(windTurbine); // rests on y = 0, front faces +Zimport { useMemo } from 'react';
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/wind-turbine.mjs';
export function WindTurbine() {
const model = useMemo(() => createAsset(), []);
return <primitive object={model} />;
}# Import wind-turbine.glb (download below). Moving parts are separate nodes, pivoted on their hinge.
add_child(preload("res://wind-turbine.glb").instantiate())// Import wind-turbine.glb with glTFast (com.unity.cloud.gltfast).
// Drop it in the scene: 1 unit = 1 metre, +Z is its front.Use the gaitkit MCP server: get_variant({ "id": "wind-turbine", "want": "default look" })
then place the result.

| Knob | Type | Values | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
height | range | 60 to 120, step 5 | 80 | Height of the rotor hub above the ground in metres. 60 is an older onshore machine, 120 a big modern one. |
bladeLength | range | 25 to 55, step 1 | 40 | Length of each blade in metres. Clipped so the tips always clear the ground or the platform by at least 12 m. |
towerColor | choice | white grey green blue | white | Paint of the tower and nacelle: white (standard), grey, green (landscape-blended base fading to white), blue (base fading to white). |
site | choice | onshore offshore | onshore | onshore (concrete foundation, door, small transformer kiosk) or offshore (dark monopile and yellow transition piece with a railed platform; y=0 is the water line). |
tipStripes | toggle | on / off | true | Red warning bands near the blade tips, as on turbines near airfields. |
Presets: wind farm {"height":85,"bladeLength":42,"towerColor":"green"} · offshore giant {"site":"offshore","height":115,"bladeLength":55,"towerColor":"grey"} · old turbine {"height":60,"bladeLength":26,"towerColor":"grey","tipStripes":false}
