Power Pylon
A high-voltage power pylon 18 to 40 m tall with its cables: a tapering steel lattice tower with three tiers of cross arms (or a tubular monopole, or a cyberpunk retrofit hung with loose cable bundles, a junction box and glowing insulators). The six conductors and the earth wire sag out half a span to each side along Z and are level at the ends, so copies placed one span apart along Z join into a continuous line. A red beacon glows on the peak at night.

Use it
Code for the specimen as it is set up above; it follows your knobs.
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/power-pylon.mjs';
const powerPylon = createAsset();
scene.add(powerPylon); // rests on y = 0, front faces +Zimport { useMemo } from 'react';
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/power-pylon.mjs';
export function PowerPylon() {
const model = useMemo(() => createAsset(), []);
return <primitive object={model} />;
}# Import power-pylon.glb (download below). It is a static mesh, one material per colour.
add_child(preload("res://power-pylon.glb").instantiate())// Import power-pylon.glb with glTFast (com.unity.cloud.gltfast).
// Drop it in the scene: 1 unit = 1 metre, +Z is its front.Use the gaitkit MCP server: get_variant({ "id": "power-pylon", "want": "default look" })
then place the result.

| Knob | Type | Values | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
style | choice | lattice monopole retrofit | retrofit | lattice (classic galvanised steel lattice tower), monopole (a single tapered steel tube with box arms, newer lines), retrofit (dark lattice festooned with loose cable bundles, a junction box with a status light, a neon warning band and glowing cyan insulators, the cyberpunk look). |
height | range | 18 to 40, step 1 | 26 | Height of the tower body in metres, 18 to 40; the earth-wire peak adds 2 m. The arms and the base widen with it. |
span | range | 20 to 60, step 2 | 30 | Distance to the next pylon in metres, 20 to 60. Cables run half a span to each side along Z and sag about 4% of the span; place copies this far apart along Z. |
cables | toggle | on / off | true | Draw the conductors and the earth wire out to half a span on both sides. Off gives the bare tower with its insulators. |
Presets: city feeder {"style":"retrofit","height":22,"span":24,"cables":true} · country line {"style":"lattice","height":32,"span":50,"cables":true} · modern monopole {"style":"monopole","height":24,"span":36,"cables":true}
