Goat
A farm goat about 0.75 m at the shoulder with swept-back horns, a chin beard, a short flag tail and slot-pupil eyes, in white, alpine, black, boer or pied coats with upright or long floppy ears. Walks with a real lateral-sequence gait: front knees bend forward, hind hocks bend back, cloven hooves stay planted, the head nods and the tail flicks.

Use it
Code for the specimen as it is set up above; it follows your knobs.
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/goat.mjs';
import { walker } from 'https://gaitkit.com/runtime/walk.mjs';
const goat = createAsset();
scene.add(goat); // rests on y = 0, front faces +Z
const gait = walker(goat, { ground: (x, z) => terrainHeight(x, z) }); // or omit ground for a flat floor
let dist = 0;
renderer.setAnimationLoop(() => {
dist += speed * clock.getDelta();
goat.position.z = dist;
gait.poseAt(dist); // feet stay planted, at any frame rate
renderer.render(scene, camera);
});import { useMemo, useRef } from 'react';
import { useFrame } from '@react-three/fiber';

const model = useMemo(() => createAsset(), []);
const gait = useMemo(() => walker(model), [model]);

}# Import goat.glb (download below). It carries an in-place "Walk" animation.
@onready var anim: AnimationPlayer = $Goat/AnimationPlayer
func _physics_process(delta):
velocity = transform.basis.z * speed
move_and_slide()
anim.play("Walk")
anim.speed_scale = speed / 0.65 # Walk clip covers 0.65 m/s at 1x// Import goat.glb with glTFast (com.unity.cloud.gltfast).
animator.Play("Walk");
animator.speed = speed / 0.65 // Walk clip covers 0.65 m/s at 1xUse the gaitkit MCP server: get_variant({ "id": "goat", "want": "default look" })
then place the result and walk it with walker() so the feet stay planted.

| Knob | Type | Values | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
coat | choice | white alpine black boer pied | white | Coat: white (dairy goat), alpine (tan body with black legs, face and spine stripe), black, boer (white body with a red-brown head), pied (white with dark brown patches). |
horns | toggle | on / off | true | Horns that sweep up and back over the neck. Off = a polled (hornless) goat. |
ears | choice | upright floppy | upright | Ear shape: upright (short ears held out sideways), floppy (long drooping ears like a Nubian or boer goat). |
beard | toggle | on / off | true | A tuft of beard under the chin (a billy goat or an older nanny). |
size | range | 0.5 to 1.3, step 0.05 | 1 | Uniform scale. 1 is a dairy goat 0.75 m at the shoulder; 0.55 is a pygmy goat or a kid (horns off, beard off); 1.3 is a big buck. |
