Griffin
A horse-sized griffin, about 3.6 m beak to tail tuft with a 6.5 m feathered wingspan: an eagle's head, chest, talons and wings on a lion's hindquarters and tufted tail. Flies by distance with deep eagle wingbeats, primaries spreading on the downstroke and folding on the upstroke, the body lifting and the tail swishing; optional riding saddle. Eyes glow at night.
