Mountain Peak
A backdrop mountain 20 to 120 m tall with ridged, faceted slopes, a jagged snow cap and wooded or bare foothills: a single peak, a long ridge, twin summits or a broad massif, seeded so no two match. In the volcanic biome it becomes a volcano with a glowing crater. Built light for the horizon: place it beyond the playable tiles.

Use it
Code for the specimen as it is set up above; it follows your knobs.
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/mountain-peak.mjs';
const mountainPeak = createAsset();
scene.add(mountainPeak); // rests on y = 0, front faces +Zimport { useMemo } from 'react';
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/mountain-peak.mjs';
export function MountainPeak() {
const model = useMemo(() => createAsset(), []);
return <primitive object={model} />;
}# Import mountain-peak.glb (download below). It is a static mesh, one material per colour.
add_child(preload("res://mountain-peak.glb").instantiate())// Import mountain-peak.glb with glTFast (com.unity.cloud.gltfast).
// Drop it in the scene: 1 unit = 1 metre, +Z is its front.Use the gaitkit MCP server: get_variant({ "id": "mountain-peak", "want": "default look" })
then place the result.

biome | choice | grass desert snow rock volcanic alien | grass | Colours shared with every Terrain piece: grass (pine-wooded green foothills, grey rock), desert (red sandstone, no trees), snow (white almost to the foot), rock (bare grey), volcanic (black cone with a glowing crater), alien (violet foothills, blue rock). |
shape | choice | peak twin ridge massif | peak | peak (one sharp summit), twin (two summits side by side), ridge (a long crest of three summits along X), massif (a broad block of several summits). |
height | range | 20 to 120, step 5 | 45 | Height of the highest summit in metres. The base is about 2.2 times as wide. |
snow | range | 0 to 1, step 0.05 | 0.5 | How far the snow reaches down: 0 is bare rock, 0.5 caps the top third, 1 snows it nearly to the foothills. |
seed | range | 1 to 50, step 1 | 11 | Changes the ridges, the outline, the summit positions and the trees. |
