Welding Bot
A robotic welding cell about 2.2 m wide: a compact torch-carrying robot arm on a pedestal welds a pipe flange, a T-joint plate or a small tank held on a turntable positioner, with a control cabinet and optional amber welding screens. The turntable turns the part under the torch (or the arm weaves along the plate seam) once per loop; the arc and spark spray glow hot at night.

Use it
Code for the specimen as it is set up above; it follows your knobs.
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/welding-bot.mjs';
const weldingBot = createAsset();
scene.add(weldingBot); // rests on y = 0, front faces +Z
// 'joint_5' pivots on its hinge: -2° to 2° around x
weldingBot.getObjectByName('joint_5').rotation.x = THREE.MathUtils.degToRad(-2);import { useMemo } from 'react';
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/welding-bot.mjs';
export function WeldingBot() {
const model = useMemo(() => createAsset(), []);
return <primitive object={model} />;
}# Import welding-bot.glb (download below). Moving parts are separate nodes, pivoted on their hinge.
$WeldingBot/joint_5.rotation_degrees.x = -2// Import welding-bot.glb with glTFast (com.unity.cloud.gltfast).
transform.Find("joint_5").localEulerAngles = new Vector3(/* x: */ -2, 0, 0);Use the gaitkit MCP server: get_variant({ "id": "welding-bot", "want": "default look" })
then place the result.

| Knob | Type | Values | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
paint | choice | orange blue yellow green | orange | Robot and positioner colour: orange, blue, yellow or green. |
workpiece | choice | pipe plate tank | pipe | What is being welded: pipe (a pipe stood on a flange, welded round its foot while the turntable turns), plate (a T-joint fin on a base plate, the arm weaves along the seam) or tank (a small pressure tank with a girth seam). |
screens | toggle | on / off | true | Amber welding curtains on steel frames along the back of the cell. |
sparks | toggle | on / off | true | The arc glow and a spray of sparks at the torch tip. Off = the robot is idle between welds. |
Presets: pipe shop {"workpiece":"pipe","paint":"blue"} · tank line {"workpiece":"tank","paint":"yellow","screens":false} · night shift {"workpiece":"plate","paint":"orange"}
