Spike Trap
A square floor trap: a riveted iron plate in a stone surround with a grid of square spikes that shoot up and sink back (rigged part "spikes", slides on y). Plate 1 to 2.5 m; spikes stand about 0.35 m above the plate when up and sink below the floor line when down, so set it into a floor. Optional pressure plate in front.

Use it
Code for the specimen as it is set up above; it follows your knobs.
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/spike-trap.mjs';
const spikeTrap = createAsset();
scene.add(spikeTrap); // rests on y = 0, front faces +Zimport { useMemo } from 'react';
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/spike-trap.mjs';
export function SpikeTrap() {
const model = useMemo(() => createAsset(), []);
return <primitive object={model} />;
}# Import spike-trap.glb (download below). Moving parts are separate nodes, pivoted on their hinge.
add_child(preload("res://spike-trap.glb").instantiate())// Import spike-trap.glb with glTFast (com.unity.cloud.gltfast).
// Drop it in the scene: 1 unit = 1 metre, +Z is its front.Use the gaitkit MCP server: get_variant({ "id": "spike-trap", "want": "default look" })
then place the result.
