Zebra
A 1.3 m-tall zebra, about 2.3 m nose to rump, with black stripes painted ring by ring around body, neck, face and legs, an upright striped mane and a tufted tail. Walks a lateral-sequence gait on IK legs with planted hooves; the head nods and the tail swishes.

Use it
Code for the specimen as it is set up above; it follows your knobs.
import { createAsset } from 'https://gaitkit.com/cdn/zebra.mjs';
import { walker } from 'https://gaitkit.com/runtime/walk.mjs';
const zebra = createAsset();
scene.add(zebra); // rests on y = 0, front faces +Z
const gait = walker(zebra, { ground: (x, z) => terrainHeight(x, z) }); // or omit ground for a flat floor
let dist = 0;
renderer.setAnimationLoop(() => {
dist += speed * clock.getDelta();
zebra.position.z = dist;
gait.poseAt(dist); // feet stay planted, at any frame rate
renderer.render(scene, camera);
});import { useMemo, useRef } from 'react';
import { useFrame } from '@react-three/fiber';

const model = useMemo(() => createAsset(), []);

}# Import zebra.glb (download below). It carries an in-place "Walk" animation.
@onready var anim: AnimationPlayer = $Zebra/AnimationPlayer
func _physics_process(delta):
velocity = transform.basis.z * speed
move_and_slide()
anim.play("Walk")
anim.speed_scale = speed / 1.4 # Walk clip covers 1.4 m/s at 1x// Import zebra.glb with glTFast (com.unity.cloud.gltfast).
animator.Play("Walk");
animator.speed = speed / 1.4 // Walk clip covers 1.4 m/s at 1xUse the gaitkit MCP server: get_variant({ "id": "zebra", "want": "default look" })
then place the result and walk it with walker() so the feet stay planted.

| Knob | Type | Values | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|---|
pattern | choice | plains grevys quagga | plains | Stripe style: plains (bold stripes all round), grevys (narrower stripes, white belly), quagga (striped head and neck fading to a plain brown back half). |
stripes | range | 0.7 to 1.5, step 0.1 | 1 | Stripe count: 0.7 is few broad bands, 1.5 many narrow stripes. |
mane | toggle | on / off | true | Upright brush mane along the top of the neck. |
size | range | 0.5 to 1.15, step 0.05 | 1 | Uniform scale. 1 is about 1.3 m at the shoulder; 0.55 reads as a foal. |
