Low-poly robots and mechs
Mechs, robots, drones and walking tanks with legs that actually work: bipeds, quadrupeds and hexapods walk with procedural IK, turrets and arms turn on named pivots. Colours, armour and weapons change with knobs.
How it works
Mechs are the hardest thing to animate by hand and the easiest with a gait system: legs are joint chains solved with IK, so a heavy six-legged tank and a quick two-legged scout both walk with planted feet at any speed. Upper bodies, turrets and cannons are separate pivots you can aim from your own code.
Every robot is low-poly with flat shading and a single material, sized in metres, so a mech hangar or a robot army stays cheap to render in the browser.
Questions
Do the mechs come with a walk animation?
Yes. Walking mechs carry a Walk clip in the GLB and can be driven by distance in three.js.
Can I aim the turret?
Rotating parts such as turrets are named pivot groups in the rig, so you can rotate them toward a target.
What sizes are there?
From small delivery bots to multi-storey battle mechs, all at real scale in metres.
